Personal Financial Planners (Limited by Guarantee) (“PFP”) was incorporated in 2007 as a non-profit professional body for personal financial planners in Nigeria.
The company is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as the pioneer professional body for personal financial professionals in Nigeria to educate, train, and certify financial planners, as well as advocate for the profession.
Brief History
Since 1992, the Institute of Financial Planning (formally incorporated in Nigeria at the Corporate Affairs Commission as IFP Limited) has promoted personal financial planning for consumers of financial services.
The professional body was birthed by the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP), the foremost educational institution for financial planning in Nigeria, providing professional training services to assist practitioners to successfully handle all aspects of their finances, and provide optimal wealth management services to clients.
